The Statement of International Communiqué and International Committee on Global Changes of Geological Environment GEOCHANGE

The decision about beginning of the action of preparing and signing the International Communiqué on Global Changes of Geological Environment GeoChange was made on 12 March 2009 by World Organization for Scientific Cooperation WOSCO and Global Network for the Forecasting of  Earthquakes GNFE on initiative of outstanding geologist Victor Yefimovich Khain - Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Professor of MSU named after Lomonosov, Doctor of geological-mineralogical sciences, Honorary President of the World Organization for Scientific Cooperation WOSCO (www.wosco.org) and President of Global Network for the Forecasting of Earthquakes GNFE (www.seismonet.org), geophysicist, Prof. Dr. Elchin N. Khalilov –  Director General of Scientific Research Institute of Prognosis of  Earthquakes (Baku, Azerbaijan).

GEOCHANGE Communiqué was accepted and approved in the last editing after signing it by the scientists from 16 countries of the world (USA, Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, China, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Indonesia, India) during the joint constitutive meeting of the Board of GNFE and  WOSCO on 05  December 2009 in Baku.

The Constituent Meeting made a decision to continue the joining of participants to GEOCHANGE International Communiqué until December 31, 2010.

The Constituent Meeting made a decision to send the GEOCHANGE International Communiqué after ending of the joining term of participants to the Communiqué to:

• The Secretary General of UNO;
• The President of the European Union;
• Heads of states;
• International Organizations;
